Sometimes life can leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship or family concerns, low self-esteem, or a major life transition. Therapy can provide a safe place to slow down, understand what you are experiencing, and begin making changes that feel manageable.
I am a Licensed Social Worker with seven years of experience in the social work field. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities. My experiences have taught me that each person comes to therapy with a unique story, set of strengths, challenges, and goals. Because of this, I believe therapy should be individualized rather than one-size-fits-all.
My therapy style is:
• Friendly
• Compassionate
• Person-Centered
• Strengths-Based
• Warm
• Collaborative
• Culturally Responsive
• Goal-Oriented
I approach therapy with kindness, understanding, curiosity, and an open mind. I want you to feel that therapy is a place where you can speak honestly without worrying about being judged. I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is developing a relationship where you feel heard and understood. We will begin by getting to know you—your experiences, concerns, strengths, relationships, and what you hope will be different in your life.
