Life can bring experiences that leave you feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, disconnected, or questioning yourself. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, adjusting to a major life change, navigating relationship or family concerns, or simply trying to better understand who you are and what you want from your life. You do not have to navigate those challenges alone.
I am a Licensed Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I believe that even in the face of adversity, we each have the capacity for positive growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
One of my goals as a therapist is to create a space where you can step away from outside expectations and feel comfortable being authentically yourself. We live in a world where comparison, social pressures, and the need to present a certain image can make judgment and negative self-talk difficult to escape. Therapy can provide an opportunity to quiet some of that noise and begin recognizing your strengths, your value, and the qualities that make you uniquely you.
Whether you want to manage difficult emotions, strengthen your relationships, navigate a transition, improve how you see yourself, or engage in deeper self-discovery, I am honored to partner with you as you work toward meaningful change.
My therapy style is:
• Warm • Empowering • Holistic • Collaborative • Strengths-Based • Affirming • Culturally Responsive
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of meaningful change. My first priority is getting to know you and creating an environment where you feel safe, seen, heard, and understood.
My approach is client-centered and holistic, which means therapy is tailored to you rather than expecting you to fit into one particular method. I meet you where you are while helping you recognize where you would like to go.
